Where are you from? Where did you go to school?
I grew up in Franklin, Massachusetts. I went to college at St. Michael's College in Vermont where I played ice hockey (go Purple Knights!) and studied education. I later got my master's degree back in Massachusetts.

My husband, Chip, and I got married last summer. We had the perfect day celebrating with our family and friends! After our wedding we went to Norway for a few weeks and did a road trip. We went kayaking, white water rafting, swam in lots of fjords, and did some hiking. It was a lot of fun!
What makes you proud to be a member of the MSAD #51 community?
I am proud to be part of such an amazing staff that works so hard to make school a place where students feel welcome. I am also grateful for my supportive and friendly colleagues, students, and families. I started teaching here in 2020 during the pandemic when I moved to Maine which wasn't an easy time to change jobs and move. I am still so grateful for all of the kindness the whole school community showed me; I knew right away that I had made the right choice!
When you are not in school, what can you be found doing?
Reading, camping, hiking, admiring flower gardens, visiting the farmers' market, exploring different coffee shops, and hanging out with my family and friends.
What celebrity would you cast to play you in the movie of your life?
I have no idea; I'd have to do some research :)
What was your favorite class in school?
I loved my children's literature class in college
