Where are you from? Where did you go to school?
I am a Mainer thru and thru, I went to high school and college here in Maine. I graduated from Unity College with a B.S. in Outdoor Recreation then got my Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning from USM.
Share something about your family and/or pets.
I live on Highland Lake with my husband and our energetic Australian Shepherd, Alta. It's a lovely place that brings us joy every day!
What makes you proud to be a member of the MSAD #51 community?
I am excited to be a member of the MSAD #51 community because I have a deep passion for teaching and empowering students to become the leaders of tomorrow. I take great joy in inspiring students to discover and appreciate diverse cultures from around the globe through travel and hands-on experiences. My husband hails from Cumberland, and contributing to this community fills me with happiness as I value its rich history and the vibrant spirit of the Greely community.
When you are not in school, what can you be found doing?
When I'm not at school, I love to spend my time mountain biking or skiing! These activities are a great way to enjoy nature and stay active.
What celebrity would you cast to play you in the movie of your life?
I would choose Cameron Diaz! She brings a great sense of humor and quirkiness to her roles, and she doesn't fit the typical Hollywood star mold. Her fun personality would be a perfect match for my story!
What was your favorite class in school?
My Favorite Classes: P.E. and Science I have always enjoyed P.E. and science classes the most! I love staying active and playing sports, which makes P.E. so much fun. Science is fascinating because it helps us understand the world around us. Both classes keep me engaged and excited to learn!
