Alerts and Closings

For closings, delays, and Remote Learning days due to weather or other emergencies, families will receive a notification via phone message, text, and/or email by 6:00am. Closings and delays will also be posted on FacebookInstagram, our District and School websites, and local news stations. 
 

School Cancellation/Delay Notifications

Parents/Guardians and high school students will receive voice, text, and/or email notifications via our BrightArrow message system. BrightArrow uses your contact information in PowerSchool. Please contact your child’s school secretary if any of your contact information needs to be updated.

2 Hour Delay

School bus pickups will occur 2 hours later than the usual time in the morning.  Lunch will be served at all schools. Dismissal times remain the same.
 
MIW & GMS 4-5
Classes begin at 10:50 AM; arrival begins at 10:20 AM
No AM or PM Pre-K
 
GMS 6-8 & GHS
Classes begin at 9:50 AM; arrival begins at 9:30 AM
 
If a delay is needed on a Wednesday that is a scheduled early release day, the entire day will need to be canceled for in-person learning. For the 4th occurrence and beyond, we will hold a Remote Learning Day.



Remote Learning Days

There will be no in-person learning on Remote Learning days.  Your child’s school will communicate more information regarding Remote Learning day plans.
